From the design to the features, what should the perfect kid-friendly laptop include? What would you leave out?

I'd leave out the laptop and by them a book. Kids don't need their own laptops.
If you had one day to spend $100,000 - and you had to spend it totally selfishly - what would you buy?
I would pay off my student loans and put the rest on our mortgage. I couldn't enjoy anything else knowing how much debt that amount of money could pay off.
Today is Repeat Day, so we want to know: what song do you have currently have on repeat? Bonus points if you share it with us!
This song has been in my head all morning. I heart Ray Lamontagne.
If money didn't matter, what job would you most like to have?

I have to tell you the truth here. I would not work if I didn't have to. I do love being a librarian. Of all the careers, it's the one for me. If I was independently wealthy, I might volunteer at a library if I got bored, but with all the books on my "to be read" list, I think I'd be happily occupied for quite some time.
What question do you hate being asked?
"What do you learn in Library School - the Dewey Decimal System?" or "You need a graduate degree to do this?"
Always said in a pompous, your job must be easy, kind of tone. I'd love for these people to be thrown into my job for a week. They'd be crying by the end of it, I promise. That's not to say that I don't love my job. It's just not "easy."
It doesn't bother me when similar questions are asked out of genuine interest in the profession.
If you could see any movie, tv show, play or sporting event "on ice," what would you choose to see performed on ice skates?
Uh, hockey?
Hamburgers or cheeseburgers?
Bacon cheeseburgers. If you're not going to eat Kosher, I say go all the way. My personal favorite is the Little Bacon Cheeseburger at Five Guys. I feel like drooling just thinking about their fries.
You have four unexpected guests showing up for dinner in less than an hour, you haven't been to the store in days, and you want to impress them with a delicious meal. What do you serve them?
I wouldn't serve them anything. I tend to be friends with people who would not show up and expect dinner on short notice. I'd tell them where the nearest restaurant was.
If it was someone that I invited at the last minute, I'd probably order out. I love to cook, but I'm not going to stress out trying to impress people with my culinary skills.
President-elect Barack Obama is being sworn into office today. Where are you watching the events of this historic day unfold?
I had to drive to work at 12 so I watched the Vice President's swearing in and dashed out to my car to listen to the music and then the President's swearing in on NPR. I'd have to say listening to it was about the same as watching. I decided to skip Rick Warren and tune in just for the actual ceremony. Do you think Justice Roberts tried to trip him up on purpose? ;)
I have to say I cried a few tears of relief upon hearing Obama presented as the 44th President of the United States.
What do you love most about your job?
Hmm... no overdue fines? Actually, I like helping people the most, especially now that so many people without computer skills are unemployed and trying to apply for jobs that only have online applications. It actually kind of irritates me that a job that doesn't require computer skills (lunch room attendant, janitor, etc) requires an online application. This is why libraries aren't going to be obsolete anytime soon.
