We got the house!
I'm a few days late in posting this. The sellers sent us a counter offer on Wednesday, and we accepted it on Thursday. Our inspection is on Tuesday so we're keeping our fingers crossed that nothing major comes up. It probably won't because they just bought the house last year, and are moving for a job transfer so they would have had an inspection just a year ago.
Here's the house. It's 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms on a corner lot, and all hardwood and tile floors. No wall-to-wall carpet! w00t!
And the beautiful kitchen they just spend a bunch of money renovating. It sucks for them that they had to move after spending so much money on the house. We got lucky since it's a buyer's market. We bought it for the same thing they bought it for last year even though they renovated the kitchen. I can't wait to cook in here!
